Human Trafficking Panel Discussion & Movie Screening

You're invited to attend a human trafficking panel discussion and movie screening on Saturday, February 4th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute. Senator Daylin Leach who has worked hard on this issue will be joined by representatives from Polaris Project, Covenant House PA, the Women's Center of Montgomery County, Laurel House and the Montgomery County Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition for this event featuring a screening of the documentary Not My Life followed by an expert panel discussion on human trafficking. He’s worked with these worthy organizations over the course of more than three years to develop and promote his National Human Trafficking Hotline Bill (SB 338), which currently awaits consideration by the Senate Appropriations Committee. Despite his efforts to abolish this crime in Pennsylvania, human trafficking remains the fastest growing criminal industry in the world, bringing in billions of dollars through horrific and illegal activity.

Bryn Mawr Film Institute on Saturday, February 4th. If you would like to attend you must RSVP with Sarah Charles at (610)768-4200 or scharles@pasenate.com.
